If you have turned on the radio or the TV lately you have most likely had fear struck in your heart (and wallet) about the US economy.  One of the largest hurdles businesses face is being stuck in a singular market that is falling apart.  For your businesses to survive, let alone expand and profit, it’s time, to start thinking globally (if you haven’t already).

My amazing friend and mentor, Dame DC Cordova, has helped 1000s of entrepreneurs expand their business into the global marketplace and reach levels of success and profit they never imagined.  DC is passionate about helping 1000s more and I want you to be one of them!

On July 10, 2012, join DC for a complimentary webinar titled “Profit and Expand with Global Entrepreneurship”. I urge you to attend!

On this important webinar, you will learn…

  • The most powerful business strategies and techniques that I have learned during my 34 years as a global entrepreneur.
  • Where the world’s fastest growing markets are and how you can tap into them
  • How your life and your families will be richer both financially, culturally and spiritually when you expand globally
  • The Rules of global entrepreneurship and how you can easily and quickly gain the skills and connections you need to succeed
  • How you can connect with and tap into the right people who can open doors and create opportunities for you and your business.

International markets are hungry for new products and services in a wide variety of niches.  Your business can feed this desire and achieve massive success and a richer, more rewarding life for you and your family in the process.

Reflect for a moment… Focus on the metaphors which these two words bring to mind…

First, the gladiator. Many of us see Russell Crowe, and his recent depiction of the gladiator warrior on the big screen. Here’s a great video vignette of the REAL meaning behind the Gladiator role portrayal:

GLADIATOR VIDEO

Strong, resilient, capable, idealistic, balanced. The gladiator of today’s society is one who stands tall amidst the storm, and does what it takes to achieve his / her ideals with commitment, discipline, diligence, and belief.

My life as a gladiator is more literal than metaphorical. As a Marine Corp officer, I’ve been trained to lead with courage, honor, strength, and skill, and I carry that ethic into every day of my life. Every day, I’m capably fighting a battle against the forces of mediority, low standards, and the “gravity” that’s trying to keep me down.

Now consider YOUR battle; what adversary are you battling? How are you showing up as a gladiator?

Next, let’s look at the champion. We imagine a winner, crossing the line first. Proudly wearing the gold medal after driving harder than any other, doing what it takes to achieve and excel, through diligence, commitment, practice, and belief.

My experience as a champion started in a real way when my rowing team won the NCAA collegiate national championship (the “Collegiate Olympics”). This achievement flipped  a switch in my spirit, as I tasted true victory and would forever bear the brand of CHAMPION on my heart.

As we combine the words GLADIATOR CHAMPION, we visualize the best of the best. The spirit of ultimate courage, strenghth, and victory.

My challenge to you is to take on your life as a GLADIATOR CHAMPION, and perservere through the tought times, overcoming the adversary (anything that’s holding you back, and stopping you from winning), and inspire others to achieve their ideals, by setting the example of what CAN be done.

Now reflect on yourself; how have YOU been a champion? We’ve ALL got something in our lives that we are a champion of… It’s YOUR imperative to know YOUR victories, and meet your inner champion, TODAY.

As we prepare for Tony Robbins’ next Business Mastery event in Las Vegas, Jan 21 – 25 ( BUSINESS MASTERY EVENT << click here), he always acknowledges the business leaders in the room as gladiators, fighting a good fight to achieve their ideals. I’d like to echo that sentiment, and am extending my appreciation for those GLADIATOR CHAMPIONS in our ranks.

The world is watching you. Keep up the great work, and inspire the masses!

Gladiator Champion

So even though we all exist within a community, we all have individual perspectives. My perspective is based on me and this body I inhabit. From this “self-centered” perspective, we each have the choice to be self-ish or self-ful.
Assuming that we are oriented toward taking care of our primary responsibility of keeping our bodies and minds healthy and thriving during this life, let’s take the assumption of self-ful—“self-centered,” self-actualization—and set it aside for the moment.

So then, what’s left? We have communities of selves who are all part of a collective, and whose imperatives are to discover what inspires each of us, do what we’re good at and what empassions us, and apply that outside our sphere of influence, thereby effecting and affecting the community. Once you realize that dichotomy of selfishness—from who you are as an individual versus the other extreme of how you effect your community—you can choose your condition and mental state, trust that your physical environment is in harmony with your ability to survive in it, believe that you as an individual are here for a reason, and refuse to buy into the drama of everything else that’s out there that’s not you.

It’s the dichotomy of the community that we live in. I choose to create team and community based on my ideal. The community actually feeds the individual and vice versa. So the key is to be the individual that’s in it for the collective. Now we each get to challenge ourselves to break the paradigm of taking simply to fulfill our needs, and determine how we can fulfill the community, in addition to fulfilling our self-fulness.

I’ve received a flood of well-wishing messages over the past week, sending me off, and welcoming me to Australia. Many folks are asking what I’m up to down under, so I feel compelled to answer…

It’s all about opportunity. Over the years, thanks to numerous business events I’ve conducted and attended throughout Australia, I’ve found that Aussies are more receptive to an “alternative” message, which is what I’m all about. Since the traditional ways of doing business are now broken (all across the planet), Aussies seem to resonate more with my message of “unconvention,” and they apparently see value in the unique approach I take toward business and personal effectiveness.

Over the past several years, I’ve made hundreds of wonderful business contacts in America, and have developed a great reputation as a revolutionary thought leader and empowering connector and business expert. Many people have benefited from my seminars, business services, and messages, and I’ve been graced with countless testimonials from satisfied clients. However, I’ve found one relatively consistent characteristic develop from most of these relationships: people want to be served first, before serving. It seems that the focus in many circles is to make money at all costs, often resulting in lack of service and follow-through. I found this attitude toward business to be in-congruent with my personal belief systems, resulting in many people taking from me, as I gave freely and openly, with the implication that they would reciprocate (yes, that was my mistake). Many people said that they wanted to align with me, and hire me for my services, but too many didn’t follow through on their initial statements and commitments. Others engaged my service, but didn’t follow through on their commitment to compensate me fairly.  Regardless of my continued perseverance, serving the marketplace in its areas of need, there was little reciprocation, and I became unable to sustain my business, based in America.

At the same time that my opportunities in America seemed to be dwindling, the opportunities to relocate to Australia became more apparent and realistic.  Over the past several months, the “stars aligned,” and things really came together. Coupled with my continued business development efforts falling relatively flat in America, I’ve received numerous positive contacts and signs to conduct business in Australia.

My recently-established position as an Elite Business Consultant with Tony Robbins and Chet Holmes at Business Breakthroughs International has allowed me to operate remotely from anywhere on the planet. I also recently acquired one of Australia’s most renowned business marketing companies as a client, so my constituent base is Australia is already expanding.

In summary, my career opportunities and abilities to serve a progressive marketplace in Australia seem more favorable than those in America. Yes, it’s a big change with associated risk, but life is meant to be an adventure, and Nancy and I are embracing our possibilities. I am still conducting business throughout America, and will continue to travel between the countries as business needs dictate.

Make it a point to visit us in Australia!

Enjoying a beautiful day in L.A.! Appreciating the alternative perspectives… what could YOU do differently?
